National Entrance Systems responded to a warehouse callout after a reach truck struck a roller door and caused significant impact damage. The collision forced the curtain out of its guides, stopped the door from closing, and left the facility exposed.

On-Site Safety Assessment & Structural Repairs
Our technicians checked in on site, completed a Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and set up a controlled work zone in line with WHS requirements. After inspecting the system, they identified multiple damaged slats, a compromised bottom rail, and misaligned guide tracks. To stabilise the door, the team raised the curtain and removed the damaged sections to prevent further stress. They sourced matching replacement slats and a new bottom rail to suit the existing system. Using the correct access equipment and careful site coordination, the technicians installed the new components and restored the curtain’s structural strength.

Reinstallation, Testing & Return to Service
Once installation was complete, the team repositioned the curtain into the guides and reset the door limits. They then carried out full operational testing to confirm smooth travel, correct alignment, and safe performance.

The roller door returned to service promptly, restoring site security and ensuring reliable, compliant operation.
